It is in Soul’s nature to care about the well-being of those we love. How can we pray for someone without trying to control their life or presume we know what is in their best spiritual interest? The following is a great example of helping without trying to control or presume to know what is best for another.
Some years ago a beloved relative, a young woman, was dating a young man. Over time it appeared their relationship was unhealthy, and while I did not know for certain, I suspected he was abusive in some way. I sensed that something was different about her after she got involved in this relationship. She was making some very unusual choices that were altering her life and was lying about them. She abruptly dropped out of college, detached herself from a loving family, and moved to a distant town with her boyfriend. Loved ones, especially her parents, were distraught over the situation.
I too was concerned for her safety and well-being but did not want to interfere with her life. After all she was an adult and was supposed to be capable of making her own choices. I generally do not get involved in the personal affairs of others because I do not want to encroach uninvited, but I love her dearly and wanted to help her in some way. I did not know what to do, so I asked God for help. I wished her the best and hoped she was truly happy with her decisions and lifestyle, but if she was unhappy and trapped in a bad situation, I prayed for God to protect her and let her know that she is loved.
One day I sang HU, a love song to God, and reflected on a recent experience during a guided contemplation at the Nature Awareness School. During the spiritual exercise I received a beautiful golden robe from the Heavens above. Del, the Prophet, helped me understand this gifted robe is a source of God’s loving comfort and protection to the one who wears it. During this time of reflection, I also thought of this young woman, and Prophet, my trusted spiritual teacher, took me spiritually to visit her. I saw her sitting on a couch watching television but she did not recognize our presence. I sat on the couch with her for some time and simply expressed love to her. Divine love filled the entire room. I had a nudge and desire in my heart to give her the golden robe for comfort and protection should she ever need it. Guided by Prophet, I gently placed the golden robe around her shoulders and gave her a hug. I wished that she could accept this special gift and turned over the outcome to the Divine. After all, God knows exactly what we need and when we need it.
Over the next several days and weeks she occasionally appeared in my dreams or contemplations where I gently expressed to her how much she is loved. Sometimes I saw her enveloped in a glowing blue bubble of light, which is another form of Divine protection. Several months later I received a phone call with news that the young woman feared for her safety in this abusive relationship and wanted to come home. This was a special day because Divine Spirit arranged a narrow window of opportunity setting the circumstances for her safe return home to her family. The timing that day was perfect in several ways. Her mother is typically not home during the day, but she was home that day to receive the call. It happened to be the first time in months that she talked to her parents. A snowstorm was forecast for that day but was late arriving, which allowed for safe travel conditions. When her parents arrived to pick her up, the boyfriend was conveniently away from the house, which averted a possible confrontation.
God’s Love and protection saved this young woman’s life, and I am blessed to witness it and be a part of it. God loves each of his children and has a desire for us to share this love with each other. Divine love and grace conditioned her with the courage, strength, and opportunity to come home that day. The timing of events, the brief window of opportunity, and all the seemingly random “coincidences” were truly miracles, the Hand of God, working in her life. Over time Divine love continued to heal the emotional scars of her experience and nurture a lasting love connection with her family. This is a testimony to the power of God’s Love.

inAs Soul, we each have the capacity to receive truth and wisdom from the Divine. It is a matter of learning how to “listen” with your heart regardless of what the mind is saying. The following is a great example of this.
In what may have appeared to be a casual conversation with Del, the Prophet, during break at a spiritual retreat some years ago, the topic of dental procedures came up. Although the conversation was general in nature, inwardly it were as if Divine Spirit was speaking directly to me, urging me to see my dentist once I returned home.
I had just been to the dentist several weeks prior to have a number of old fillings replaced, which left my dentist wondering why I was back so soon. I mentioned hearing of a certain procedure and felt it was something I should look into sooner rather than later. While the procedure I mentioned did not appear to be necessary in my case, he decided to take some x-rays for a closer look.
To my surprise, the x-rays revealed an abscess beneath an old crown — a problem that would likely have gone undetected until the infection spread. The tooth beneath the crown had cracked, and with the nerves in the tooth having been removed, there was no pain to alert me. The dentist said it was a good thing I came in when I did, as such infections are capable of spreading to the heart and other organs, with potentially severe consequences. Early treatment made all the difference.
Having been to the dentist so recently prior, I could have easily justified blowing off the nudge I was given. Thank God I did not! I’ve grown to recognize and appreciate these communications as gifts from a loving God. God is always looking out for us, offering His protection and guidance in matters we may otherwise never see coming.

inYou are Soul, a spiritual being. You have the ability to directly receive guidance from God. You must first however, learn the “Language of the Divine.” With this loving guidance comes the peace and confidence that can get you through any challenge.
On the way home from work in mid February 2014 I received the news that my dad had passed away. Due to the impending major snowstorm the next day I needed to pack and get out of town as quickly as possible. I ended up leaving town just as the snow flurries began. According to the weather map and predictions once I got into West Virginia I would be out of the worst of the snow, as they were only expecting one to three inches. My plan was to get from Virginia through West Virginia and into Ohio, if possible, where it seemed to be all clear.
As I traveled west of Lexington, Virginia and towards the West Virginia border the snow was coming down quite heavily. Traffic slowed down to forty miles an hour. I got strong inner guidance from the Prophet to slow down and be safe… slow and steady. The snow came down thickly with the snow and ice staying on the interstate.
By the time I was getting close to Beckley, West Virginia, I was driving on snow and ice down to twenty-five miles an hour. Snow was piled everywhere, and it was cold enough that the salt was not melting the ice on the interstate. I talked with a state trooper about the road conditions and he said that although the toll road was not closed, he felt that it should be closed. He recommended I go back one exit and find a motel for the night. With that in mind, I worked my way slowly back to the interstate, and then got very strongly inside the knowingness that I needed to keep on going to Charleston, West Virginia, otherwise I would get stuck in Beckley. I listened and obeyed.
Next to no one was on the road as I wound my way through the mountainous passes in the midnight darkness, going no more than twenty five miles an hour. I felt the Presence of the Divine and knew I was completely in the Hands of God, and was being safely guided by the Prophet. I was totally fearless and had deep peace with an inner “oasis of tranquility.” It was an exquisite experience, being totally reliant on the guidance of the Divine, on the cutting edge of life with clear inner communication. In that moment of time there was nowhere else I wanted to be. I had everything I needed, resting in the Hands of God in that eternal moment of now. What a priceless gift and a template for everyday life, a guide for future situations.
Getting into Charleston around one hour past midnight it was still snowing. In the morning I sat down for my morning contemplation, a time of inner communication and connection with the Prophet and singing HU, a love song to God. After several minutes I received strong inner guidance to put on my clothes, pack the car, and leave immediately. For once I did not question or delay after doing “one more thing;” I just did it! And I am grateful for that inner guidance. Motel personnel told me that it was to continue snowing all day and that traffic was barely moving.
It ended up taking twenty-two hours on the road to my hometown in northern Indiana, and normally it takes eleven hours. I arrived safe and praising God. Since then I have often revisited that experience and savor the love, joy, and inner peace that I experienced being cradled and protected in the hands of God – while listening and being totally reliant on the impeccable guidance of the inner Prophet. He is always there beside me, in my heart, waiting for me to be receptive to the loving guidance and blessings.
Over the years I have learned that listening is much more than just hearing the Divine. I have had the tendency to hear guidance or see clues through night dreams and awake dreams, and then go ahead with what I wanted to do first – “just one more thing and then I respond…” I have found that responding in a timely manner to God’s timing is “really listening.” This experience has changed me at a very deep level.

Posted Book 5, Divine Protection, Gratitude, Love
inOften we are not aware the Hand of God has reached into our lives to bless, guide, or protect us. When we do recognize these gifts of love our gratitude and appreciation grows, which opens our heart even further to God’s Love.
I was working on the computer the other week downloading files. As they were rather large files it took some time to download. In between keystrokes I began to contemplate on the miracles of God and God’s blessings. I was sitting there quietly with no agenda, just thinking on the magnificence of God’s Grace. Suddenly I received a tremendous download of love that touched my being in so many ways. A wonderful volume of love poured into me, a gift so precious. Thanking God’s Prophet for this wonderful gift I thought about all the blessings that I receive from God through God’s Prophet. Over the years I have come to discover everything in my life is a gift from God. Sitting there in the office I felt so much love, gratitude, and appreciation. My cup most certainly runneth over.
This started me thinking about the love and gratitude I have for all the gifts I recognize in my life. My family, home, friends, and the gift to see God’s Love manifest in my life in so many ways. My contemplation then shifted as a new thought entered my consciousness. I considered the gifts of love God brings to me that I do not recognize. Then I was reminded of an experience I had several weeks previously. I was working on a job out on the ocean near New England. The ocean weather in the winter can become quite rough and unpredictable. We could only work a few days at a time before a storm would blow through, requiring us to leave our work site and avoid the worst of the weather in a safe harbor. The hundred foot boat we were on was well maintained and the crew very professional. When the weather forecast called a “Small Craft Advisory” we knew to pay attention and run to shelter. This particular time a storm was developing so we moved the vessel to the harbor and set anchor. The wind kept increasing throughout the day and by nightfall we had sustained winds of fifty to sixty miles per hour and gusts over seventy miles per hour. We were still safe. The crew kept a steady watch on our situation and the weather. They had to reset the anchors several times as the wind would push the boat causing the anchors to drag on the bottom.
Going to bed I could feel the wind shifting the boat as it bobbed and rolled against the anchor and chain. Curling up in my sleeping bag I was warm and comfortable, grateful that it was so. I slept well that night. Awakening the next morning I greeted the crew in the galley. They proceeded to tell me that during the night they had recorded a wind speed of over one hundred and four miles per hour. I immediately saw the magnitude of this event, and felt like I had been part of a miracle. My heart turned to God to give thanks for the incredible protection and for keeping us all safe. To put this in perspective a Category One hurricane has sustained winds of at least seventy four miles per hour. Speeds as high as eighty nine miles per hour were recorded when Hurricane Sandy moved through the Garden State. Hurricane Katrina made its second landfall as a Category Three hurricane with sustained winds of one hundred and twenty miles per hour in Louisiana. The winds we experienced were not sustained and would not be considered a hurricane, but the number of things that could have happened to our little vessel boggles the imagination. Yet there we were, sipping coffee in the morning as if nothing happened. We were safe and secure as if we were being held in God’s Hand. The storm had passed and the morning sky was amazing.
Sitting in my office in front of the computer again safe and warm, I wondered about the countless times God protected me, kept me and my loved ones safe from harm, steered me in the right direction at just the right time, and put the right conditions in front of me to answer the prayers of my heart. All those times and I was not aware of any of it. I can, however, try my best to be more aware of and grateful for the blessings I do recognize, to be more aware of God’s Presence throughout the day, and demonstrate gratitude and appreciation for God truly keeping me safe in the palm of His Hand.

inWe are here on Earth to learn more about giving and receiving love. Of the two, more tend to struggle with receiving love rather than giving love. Fortunately, the Divine presents us with countless opportunities to practice, for if one desires to truly give love they must first be able to receive it. We cannot pass on what we do not have.
I attended a wonderful reunion recently. There I was blessed to experience God’s Love in a circumstance that was different than I would have imagined. Every moment can be an opportunity to give or receive love, no matter where we are – at church or at home, at work or at the store. Or in this example – cutting cheesecake.
It was a perfect mid-summer evening. I was standing around the table with my family and friends, enjoying the sweet laughter and familiar sounds of those I love while I was slicing the cheesecake for dessert. Suddenly, I began to feel weak and fainted. Two men stood at the table beside me and caught me as I began to fall. My husband watched me begin to faint and raced around the table to catch me before I hit the ground.
For those of you whom have fainted before, you can probably relate to the anxiety with which you come back into your body, unaware as to why people are looking down at you with such concern. Slowly I realized what had happened. With my husband at my side like a rock of solid love, I received a chair in which to rest until I gained back my strength. A friend who is a physician’s assistant began to ask me questions to decipher what had happened, but there seemed to be no logical explanation for it. It was an unexpected and random event which contained a hidden blessing.
As I was recovering in the chair, I became aware that God was opening a window for me. Through it, He was revealing a greater portion of His Love for me through my friends and family. I knew at that moment that He has that same love for each and every one of us, including you. More love than we could possibly imagine is all around us – all the time.
For the next ten minutes as I regained stability, I could feel God’s Love pouring into me. I could now see what had always been there. Gratitude streamed out of my heart. I am so blessed to love and be loved by my husband. His strength and devotion became even more apparent to me that night, shining forth through a turbulent moment. How sweet that was and still is!
Around the room stood other people in my life whom I love and who love me. Disguised as human love, I received a portion of God’s Love in each thought or prayer of well wishes and each compassionate look in their eyes. As a friend gave me a glass of water, it was God’s Love that was passed into my hand and heart. Each touch on the shoulder, each cold rag on my forehead did the same. They were all gifts of love from God, just in a different form – given from Soul to Soul. It was a very precious moment. To be loved is no little thing, but a huge gift from God that I cherish.
I also felt so protected. I had been in precarious places to faint earlier that day – at the edge of a creek, on a large rock in the woods, and alone in the bathroom. Yet I fainted at the precise moment in time where I could receive the most care. I could see the concern in my husband’s and friends’ eyes, understandably, but I knew that somehow this was part of God’s plan for me. Throughout the whole experience, I was blessed to be keenly aware of the Prophet of God’s presence with me. His presence gives me a comfort and security that transcends any physical experience. With him I was aware of a sphere of soft golden and white light surrounding me and the entire room. Inwardly, the Prophet gave me reassurance that everything was fine, which helped me to relax and be present in the moment.
On this wonderful summer evening, I was given the opportunity to see and accept more of God’s Love. For years Del Hall has taught me and others to recognize God’s Hand, and His Love, in all areas of our lives. And in this moment of physical vulnerability, God’s message got through to me. I saw His Love in everything and everyone around me. Throughout my life I, like many others, have found it easier to give love than to receive it. This night was an opportunity to just accept it. Thank you Prophet for helping me to see and accept more of what has always been around me – God’s Love.

God is constantly showering His children with blessings of all shapes and sizes, one of them being protection from danger. Life is so much more joyful for those who recognize these blessings of God even while something “bad” is happening. Depending on your attitude and your relationship with God, the cup never has to be “half-empty.”
Recently I was introduced to a man who has a saw mill. He cuts, dries, and sells wood that I could use for wood working. He invited me over to show me what he has for sale. When I arrived there were a few other woodworkers already there and we spent several hours looking through hundreds of samples that he had milled and dried. I love working with wood, I found some really nice pieces for bowls and tables and got some great ideas from the other woodworkers. I had a wonderful time and was aware of Prophet’s blue light and presence throughout the day. Late in the afternoon, after I bought a half dozen pieces of wood, I loaded up the truck and headed for home.
I drove about a quarter mile to the main road. At the intersection I put my foot on the brakes to stop my truck and the brake pedal went to the floor! My brakes barely worked and I went through the stop sign, and finally came to a stop three quarters of the way out into the intersection. Although having your brakes fail is a little scary, I felt protected. Through the years Del, the Prophet of God, has shown me that when we have a relationship with the Divine everything that happens in our lives is a gift of love from God. With faith, trust, and patience, in time the Prophet will help us see how everything is a blessing. When, through Grace, we are given the eyes to see, we can then connect the dots and be consciously aware of and grateful for the gifts of God’s Love and teachings in our daily lives. Being grateful opens our hearts and helps us develop an even closer relationship with God. It’s a beautiful circle.
I have been blessed to learn how to witness the Hand of God in my life every day! Here are some of the many ways I saw how God blessed me through this particular experience: As I went through the stop sign and into the intersection, all of the vehicles nearby had plenty of time to see what was going on and avoid running into me. After my truck finally came to a stop, I backed slowly out of the intersection, pulled off the road and looked over the truck to see if I could determine what caused the problem? I did not see anything obvious and had a nudge to slowly drive back to the saw mill, testing my brakes regularly to make sure I could drive and stop safely. When the men at the mill looked over the truck, they spotted that the back brake line was cracked and was leaking brake fluid. One of the people I had met that day was still there and volunteered to give me a ride to an auto repair shop. The mechanic at the shop helped me get a tow truck which just so happened to be available and close by. After we got my truck, the tow truck driver got me back to the repair shop before it closed. The owner of the shop had the parts needed, was able to work on my brakes, and kindly stayed open a little longer in order to fix them, and he still only charged me a very reasonable price. My insurance company covered the tow truck cost. And most importantly, I felt the Prophet’s presence and knew that he was with me the entire time, helping, protecting, and guiding me through the events of the day.
I was also shown that another part of this blessing was the timing of when the truck’s brakes failed and were fixed. Brakes of course do not fail while you’re driving but only when you are stopping, so no matter when they fail it is a potentially dangerous situation. I had an hour and half drive home on a highway through the mountains. If the brakes failed once I was on the highway and when I had to slow or stop on a steep downhill incline at 60-70 miles an hour that could have been disastrous.
Later that week I was planning on going to our cabin. The public road leading to our property and the one that is on our property are rough, steep, gravel roads which traverse approximately eight hundred vertical feet. Many places have steep mountain drop-offs, there are no rails, boulders, or anything to stop a vehicle from going over the side. If my brakes had failed there or previously on the highway, I may not be here to write this thank you letter. Not only does my relationship with the Prophet make my life so much more full and abundant, on this particular day his love, guidance, protection, and presence literally saved my live. Thank you!

God can communicate with each and every one of His children. This communication comes in many ways and sometimes is so subtle we could easily disregard it. Learning to recognize, trust, and act on this guidance can save not only our lives, but the lives of those around us.
Our books are filled with stories that will help you understand how God communicates. You can preview them for free HERE.
Occasionally I have to travel for work. One Saturday in December I had an out of state job in Maryland, about a three and a half hour drive from my home. The weather report indicated that there was a seventy percent chance of snow in the morning. I set my alarm for 5:45 am. Something woke me up several minutes before the alarm went off so I got ready and headed out a little earlier than expected. A beautiful light snow was falling as I drove out of my neighborhood and into the mountains.
I enjoy singing the HU throughout my day and have been doing so for years. I put a HU CD on in my car to listen to as I left my house. The HU is a beautiful love song to God. It helps me relax, be in the moment, fills me with peace, love and joy, and helps me walk through my day more gracefully. Today it also brought me protection. While HUing that morning, I was very aware of my spiritual teacher’s presence with me on the inner. I have grown to realize that this relationship is the key to everything good in my life.
Snow was starting to stick to the mountain roads and they were becoming a little slippery, I prayed to God for a safe drive. Shortly after I crossed the mountain the temperature rose above freezing causing the snow to change to rain. And though it rained the entire time, I drove for the next two hours up to the DC area without incident. The speed of the traffic around the DC beltway was about fifty-five to sixty miles an hour.
Everything was going smoothly when, “out of the blue” I got a brief thought or image of a car on the highway spinning out of control. Though it seemed to be a random or unusual thought, from years of experience I trusted and knew that I should pay attention. I took my foot off the gas and stepped on the brake to slow down. The people behind me slowed down too.
Shortly after I decreased my speed a lady in a green Jeep Cherokee, two vehicles ahead of mine, lost control of her car. She swerved across three lanes of traffic and smashed into the concrete highway divider. Then her car bounced and spun out of control back across the highway. The man to the left of me locked up his brakes and fishtailed toward her. He just missed hitting her by inches. Eventually her car stopped sideways in the middle of the road. Had I not slowed down I would have hit her broadside. We were on a curve in the road and many cars behind us were still approaching. Some of the drivers had probably seen the brake lights or what had just happened and slowed down, though there were others coming around the bend who were caught off guard. I had a strong feeling to keep moving because this was not a safe place to be. I drove past the lady in the car and saw that her airbag had deployed. She looked like she was shaken but seemed okay. I pulled over ahead of the accident and out of danger and called 911.
Through this experience I know that God’s Love and Grace had once again blessed my life. The Hand of God and the protection of the HU saved me from a major car accident. I was given a subtle warning. If I had not trusted that inner guidance and immediately followed that nudge to slow down, I could have crashed into her vehicle. If I had not been woken up a few minutes earlier than my alarm was set for, I could have been in this accident or have been stuck behind it for hours and would not have made it to my job on time. Perhaps the biggest gift of all was, because God had put me in that particular spot on that particular day, several of the cars behind me may have also avoided being in a very serious accident themselves.

inGod can literally reach into the physical and change the course of events to keep us safe if it is not our time to go. I wonder how many times this happens and just gets considered good luck? God certainly does not need the credit. We are the ones who benefit when our blessings are recognized.
Traveling home from a winter class at the Nature Awareness School it had begun to snow when I got to the mountains of West Virginia. The highways were clear of snow but once I took the exit to go to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the roads began to get covered and slick. There was a little red car in front of me. I was able to keep up for awhile but it was going faster than I felt was safe, so I let it gain distance until it disappeared out ahead. I was trying to be cautious and travel slower, below the speed limit.
When cresting a hill and starting down the other side I saw a tractor-trailer coming from the opposite direction. Wanting to slow down more, I pulled the gear shifter from Drive down into Third gear. Wrong thing to do! My car started to slide and then in a mild panic I over compensated which caused more sliding. The lights of the tractor-trailer were getting closer and closer! I saw a yard and some cars to my right. All I could think of was “body shop.” Now the back end of the car began to slide around toward the front of the car – “this is not good!” Now, as I am slowly spinning around and sliding towards the tractor-trailer my thought was “this is going to hurt,” so I closed my eyes and yelled out to God. It was loud and clear.
The truck came to a complete stop and my car had finally stopped moving. I did not come close to the tractor-trailer or slam into the hillside. God had his hand on my car, that is the only way it can be explained. The car stopped so gently, just before a drain inlet. There was no jarring, crunching, or damage of any kind. Once I opened my eyes and began breathing again, I knew and immediately thanked God. The tractor-trailer started up the hill again and once it had passed, all I had to do was back up a little and get over to the right side of the road. Thank you God for always being with and protecting me.

inMany have experienced some form of Divine Intervention. A moment where God says, “not yet” and steps in to help us out of a jam. It might be easy for others to try and talk you out of it, but for those that have experienced it – you know what you know.
“Testimonies of God’s Love” has many incredible stories of people recognizing the Hand of God in their life.
When I was in college, friends and I went swimming in the Yuba River in California. We were diving off a train trestle and swimming to a sandbar about half way across the river. I was already tired when I dove in too deep. By the time I came up, the current had carried me much farther than I wanted. If I missed the sandbar, the far side was a long way off and the near side was too steep to climb out.
I swam with all I had. I realized I was not going to make it, I was exhausted.
As the current swept me past the sandbar, I saw a hand reach out for me. I grabbed it and was pulled to shore. I could barely crawl out of the water. Not long after, I looked up and saw a small willow bush, with a branch trailing in the water where I had seen the hand. I knew that God had saved my life.

inTo be physically alive is not the same thing as having life. It is when we awaken in consciousness to our Divinity that we can truly have an abundant life. It is our connection and loving relationship with the Divine that fuels this growth. -Enjoy
The study of your dreams can help awaken you to your Divinity. Your next two opportunities are within reach.
I recently recalled a story my mother told me when I was younger. She said that while she was seven months pregnant with me she tripped and began to fall down a steep flight of stairs. She told me that she was sure she would have fallen on her stomach. As she was falling she felt an invisible hand catch her and put her back on her feet.
She did not know whose hand it was, but was sure of her experience and how it saved her from injury and saved my life. She expressed that the impact of how she was falling would likely have killed me.
Five years later, I was on a fishing trip with my father. My younger brother and I were playing on a pier as he fished across the pond. I reached out to grab something in the water and fell in. I was only five and did not know how to swim. I remember falling into the water and sinking. As I sunk, I looked up and could see the light breaking through the top of the water. I began to wave my arms to swim to the top and just as I did this, an unusual burst of energy propelled me to the top. I broke through the water so fast that I was able to grab the pier and pull myself up very easily.
So, here I am forty-one years later reflecting on those experiences over morning coffee. As I contemplate, what stands out to me is that I was touched by the “Hand of God,” and it saved my physical life very literally back then. However, I did not have “life” in the truest sense until I began to learn how to have a relationship with the Divine. This began in 2005.
I learned, and am still learning, how to do that from my teacher Del at the Nature Awareness School. He has opened my spiritual eyes and given me the fundamentals to live an abundant life. Some might ask “why was I saved?” I know that it was because before I was even born, I had a dream in my heart to “Manifest my Divine Nature.” I wanted to find my teacher, and I did.

Another benefit to learning the “Language of the Divine” is being able to hear when God is trying to warn us of danger. In the following story the author received multiple insights that quite possibly saved her life. They came in the form of what some would consider “coincidences.” The warnings were more than coincidence.
I was driving to work on a Sunday and flipping through the radio stations when I heard a voice that I recognized. It was a friend of mine on NPR talking about his work. So I listened to it until I got to work.
When I left work the radio station was still on the same channel. I typically do not listen to this station but found myself listening to “Car Talk” with Click and Clack. A woman called in and asked about her steering wheel shaking, as I listened, I recognized that my own steering wheel had been shaking for a few weeks. I was curious to hear the problem and they told her she had a tire problem and she needed to get it fixed immediately because if it fell off or broke on the highway it could be the end of her. Right as they said this, my check engine light came on, another awake dream for me to pay attention.
The next day I listened to a spiritual seminar where the speaker mentioned listening to Click and Clack the day before. I was very excited to hear this about the show I “randomly” was listening to the day before! So needless to say after all these awake dreams, I was paying attention. I took my car in the next day and it came back with a huge amount of problems with an estimate of around eight thousand dollars to fix. One of the problems was with my axles; they were dried out and ready to separate at any moment, making driving very dangerous. With the very high estimated cost of the repairs it made more sense to just by a newer used car.
In the morning I sang HU and contemplated as to how dangerous the car was and could I drive it for a little while longer? I did not want to rush into buying another car. I prayed to God and opened a spiritual book “at random” and it said “We serve God and life out of gratitude. Why? For the blessings we have received. What is the greatest blessing? The gift of life itself. It’s living. It’s getting more experience in life, learning more about who and what you are.” I definitely took this as another awake dream that my car is dangerous and could potentially cost me my life. The hand of God was guiding me and protecting me throughout this experience. I am so grateful for the teachings that have taught me how to recognize the hand of God in my daily life.

There is no limit to the ways God can bestow His Love and protection on those in need. The following is an amazing example of this.
Years ago, as a young adult Boy Scout leader, I was driving a vanload of boys at the start of a camping trip. Sometime after dark, we pulled up to the stop sign on a country road. In the distance I could see the single headlight of an oncoming motorcycle. I believed the motorcycle was still quite far away and moving rather slowly, but my observation turned out to be wrong. As I turned onto the main road, I suddenly realized the motorcycle was much closer than I had believed.
As I floored the van’s gas pedal, the boys in the back of the van yelled in fright as the bike moved in very close. Then in wonder and amazement, they described that they saw a great hand, made of light, reach out and keep the bike from hitting the back of the van. The Hand of God intervened to keep several lives safe that night.
Since that time, I have come to find and welcome the Divine presence in all areas of my life. As I have become more aware of God, I have experienced more love, help, healing, peace, rest, suggestions for creating a more abundant life, and so much more. I hope you will come to welcome God into your life and to see the wonderful changes that are possible.
